1. Richardson Historic District
The Richardson Historic District is a district that is located in Richardson, Texas. The district contains multiple buildings that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The buildings in the district include the Public Library, the East Theatre, and the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
The Richardson Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 3, 1985. In addition, there is a commercial building at 66 Main Street which was designed and built in the nineteenth century by Richardson’s office in a Richardsonian style. Richardson’s Richardsonian style reflects Richardson’s own modest nature and his interest in artistry.
2. Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm
Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm is a shopping center that is located in Richardson, Texas. The center contains multiple stores and restaurants, including a Barnes and Noble, an AMC Theatre, and a Texas Roadhouse. The shopping center was developed by the Richardson Richardson Redevelopment Authority and opened in 2002. The authority purchased the site in 1999 for the purpose of developing a shopping center.

3. Richardson Bike Trail
The Bike Trail is a bike trail that is located in Richardson, Texas. The trail runs for 6.5 miles from Galatyn Park to the DART Central Station. The trail was opened in 2007 and was funded by a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation. The Bike Trail is a mostly suburban bike trail with some sections that are lined by large trees. The Bike Trail has access points throughout Richardson’s downtown area.
4. Breckinridge Park
Richardson’s Breckinridge Park is a 66-acre park that is located in Richardson, Texas. The park was dedicated in 1965 and is Richardson’s oldest park. The park includes multiple playgrounds, a swimming pool, a pond, and a pavilion. The pavilion can be rented for events and includes restrooms and a kitchen. Richardson’s Breckinridge Park is open from sunrise to sunset. Richardson’s Breckinridge Park includes Richardson Public Library.
5. Cottonwood Park
Cottonwood Park is Richardson’s newest park and is Richardson’s first “destination park”. The park was dedicated in 2015 and includes a playground, a splash pad, a pavilion, restrooms, a walking trail, and a dog park. Richardson’s Cottonwood Park is open from sunrise to sunset. Richardson’s Cottonwood Park is located at 1611 W. Renner Rd. Richardson, Texas. “The Cottonwood Park trailhead is located on Renner Road (east side) at Mockingbird Lane (across the street from Richardson’s Police Department). At the trailhead, there are four 10-foot benches for people to sit and enjoy their surroundings. The trail can be accessed through Richardson Bike Trail.
6.Richardson Farmers Market
The Richardson Farmers Market is a farmers market that is located in Richardson, Texas. The Richardson Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to noon. The Richardson Farmers Market has vendors that sell produce, eggs, meat, honey, baked goods, and crafts. The Richardson Farmers Market also has live music and food trucks. Richardson’s Richardson Farmers Market is located at the Richardson Civic Center (411 W. Arapaho Rd., Richardson, Texas).
7. Richardson Theatre Centre
Richardson Theatre Centre is a theatre that is located in Richardson, Texas. Richardson Theatre Centre is open to the public and offers a variety of programming, including plays, concerts, and movies. Richardson Theatre Centre also has a gift shop and a café. Richardson’s Richardson Theatre Centre is located at 518 W. Arapaho Rd., Richardson, Texas.
